  • Yes, to access Medicare rebates, you’ll need both a valid referral and a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.

  • If you have both a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan, you’ll be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $96.65 per session.

  • Each 50-minute session is $230. Sessions held outside standard hours (before 9 am, after 5 pm, or on weekends) incur an additional $20 fee.

  • You may be eligible for a rebate through your private health insurance, depending on your fund and level of cover. We recommend contacting your insurer directly. Invoices can be provided to assist with claiming.

  • Yes, we currently offer telehealth sessions only.

  • No, we only provide individual therapy sessions. For clients under 18, parental involvement may be included depending on the child’s age and needs.

  • We require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling (excluding weekends and public holidays).

    Late cancellations: 50% of the session fee

    No-shows or cancellations without notice: full session fee

  • The initial session focuses on getting to know you, your history, and what’s brought you to therapy. We’ll explore your presenting concerns and collaboratively set some initial treatment goals. The pace and focus of sessions will always align with your individual needs and comfort level.

  • At this time, we do not provide reports. If you are involved in or anticipating any legal proceedings, please inform us at the outset. Our psychologists may discontinue services if this is not disclosed.

  • Yes, all personal information is stored securely using our electronic health system, Halaxy. Information is accessed only by your psychologist or authorised practice staff. You can read more in our Privacy Policy .
